My friend and I did a cooking class and it was fabulous. One of the highlights of our trip. We started getting some ingredients in Le Marais before heading back to their kitchen perfectly located on the Seine. We made a delicious goat cheese salad, duck breast and softened pear dessert. Everyone in the class contributed and was so lovely to talk to. I would love to go back and take a baking class or any other class they offer. Everything was delicious.

A Croissant Dream Come True at La Cuisine Paris! As a dedicated pastry enthusiast, my recent trip to Paris wouldn't have been complete without a visit to La Cuisine Paris. I first stumbled upon this gem while reading "The French Ingredient" and instantly knew it was where I needed to be to learn the art of the croissant. My expectations were high, and I'm thrilled to say they were exceeded in every way! From the moment I stepped through the door, I was met with the most genuinely friendly and welcoming staff. While waiting for the class to begin, I had the pleasure of chatting with my fellow "students," sharing our excitement for the buttery delights to come. But the biggest surprise, and an absolute highlight, was getting to meet Jane herself! She is every bit as lovely as her reputation suggests, and it was truly inspiring to see the wonderful business she's built, dedicated to teaching visitors the secrets behind Paris's most beloved pastries and dishes. The croissant and pastry making class itself was an incredible experience. I learned so much, soaking up every tip and technique shared by our instructor. I'm confident that these newfound skills will significantly improve my croissant-making attempts back in the States. Beyond the invaluable culinary education, I had a truly wonderful time, connecting with new people who shared my passion for food. And, of course, meeting the visionary woman who started it all was the icing on the cake! I wholeheartedly recommend La Cuisine Paris to any croissant lover eager to learn how to recreate these delicious treats at home. It's more than just a cooking class; it's an immersive and delightful Parisian experience.
There are simply no words to express my experience at La Cuisine. From the moment I arrived early, the two ladies at the front desk were so gracious and welcoming, very conversational, they were lovely. And Audrey, our chef, she was simply amazing. If you’re considering any classes in Paris, look no further, this is absolutely the most wonderful place You can attend. We went to several, and this one, really stands out. I learned things I did not know, tips and tricks, and it was just an amazing overall experience. You will never regret taking a class or classes here.

I’ve taken 3 in person classes and 1 online class with La Cuisine and they’ve all been outstanding! I would highly recommend the market classes — they’ve been my favorite and you get a chance to shop in the local markets before cooking a beautiful, seasonal meal. The chefs are all highly trained and skilled (I’ve gotten to work with 2 different chefs, Cyril and Geoffroi) and they answered all my questions kindly and expertly. If you’re an English speaker and a little nervous to take a class entirely in French this is a perfect choice!

This was the first cooking class I ever did and it absolutely delivered. When you meet the group you meet directly across from the market and are immediately brought to the center of it all to really take in the sights, the people and the buzz of the market. As a group you vote on what you want to cook and eat with any dietary restrictions being factored for. Once the decision is made on what is going to be made as a group you go to each stall to get bread, vegetables, meat (or fish) and of course, cheese! The class happens in a gorgeous little house with views overlooking the Seine, when you arrive there is coffee and tea as they wash up the vegetables and get everything set up. During the class the chef did an incredible job of setting everyone up in little groups to get things done from chopping to prepping sauce to cooking which made everyone feel very involved in the meal and incredibly proud of our end result. It was a small group of 8 which meant we could have a really nice conversation about our trips to Paris and the wonderful food others had tried or were going to try on their trip. If you are a solo traveler I couldn’t recommend this enough to get to meet new people and have a really lovely conversation with other travelers who love food! Traveling as a couple who love to cook together and meet new people this is also a must do!
