Atelier Oh Les Beaux Jours

A group of us from Canada decided to join a painting workshop in Paris. Before registering, we compared several art studios in Paris that offer art workshops. Through viewing their works, we found that Claire (l'Atelier Oh Les Beaux Jours) had a creative philosophy that perfectly aligned with the direction we hoped to explore, so we unanimously chose her studio. The three days of creative instruction were truly eye-opening. I discovered that the rhythm of music can also be expressed in painting—melodies guiding brushstrokes, with different styles of artwork paired with different genres of music, producing a fascinating resonance, as if the canvas itself were "singing." We experimented with diverse materials to create texture on canvas, explored the plasticity of art from multiple perspectives, and reimagined our works with imagination and creativity. It was both inspiring and enjoyable. One of the most delightful surprises was the experience of painting with ink. I had always assumed ink was used exclusively in Chinese painting, but Claire encouraged us to apply it freely on paper. Each individual’s marks were unique, reminding us that art knows no borders. Under her thoughtful guidance, our works carried both the fluid elegance of Chinese ink painting and the dynamic tension of Western modern art—a remarkable fusion. Claire not only taught us painting techniques but also conveyed a deeper lesson: to paint with the heart and to let the soul leave its trace on the canvas. Every piece of art is alive—it is a process of dialogue with oneself. This three-day course not only unleashed creative energy but also offered me a new way of perceiving art. It was a truly enriching experience, and I am deeply grateful for Claire’s guidance.

Un atelier de peinture où l’on se sent bien au coeur d’un quartier agréable du 11eme. Pause déjeuner sympa avec le groupe à proximité. J’ai pu avancer dans ma pratique avec Claire maîtresse des lieux au travers d'une séance thématique intéressante. Elle donne ses conseils avec bienveillance en nous laissant espace et tranquillité et en prenant du temps pour chacun.

J'ai eu le plaisir de participer à l'atelier 'De la figuration à l'abstraction - Techniques mixtes'. Une véritable escapade d'une journée entière dans un monde de couleur et de poésie. Merci Claire pour cet atelier à la fois fascinant et instructif. Je recommande cet atelier à tous ceux qui recherchent une expérience artistique unique et enrichissante. ❣️ ❤️

Après un 1er stage d'aquarelle très agréable et pédagogique avec Claire, (voir plage jointe), je souhaitais poursuivre mon initiation à la création picturale par son stage de papiers collés En une journée, Claire m'a permis d'utiliser plusieurs techniques. I was so thrilled to a part of this holiday workshop! I wish I could live in Paris and continue my work with Claire. She is an excellent teacher, focused and organized. I enjoyed the camaraderie with the other artists. I was a true beginner and Claire was so encouraging. I'm posting my favorite piece that I finished. My esteem towards artists really increased due to this class. If I'm ever back in Paris, I hope to connect again and take more classes.
