Caroline’s French Classes｜Private French Lessons in Paris

Juliette (Caroline’s colleague) is a wonderful tutor! I spent two hours a day during one week with Juliette with a very specialized approach for advanced French learning. Each day we met at a different place in Paris arranged by Juliette, such as a market or an art center. We spent time in the location and followed up with learning new expressions and reviewing grammar. Each day, Juliette was so prompt, professional, friendly and well prepared with handouts and active teaching. Not only did I get a wonderful cultural immersion course, but also discovered places I didn’t know about and had a fun time talking with Juliette. She is very easy to talk with and easy to understand. She really tailored the course to the needs that I explained to her. Don’t hesitate to take a class with Juliette! She’s great!

I have been extremely pleased with my classes with Yolene - both face to face in Paris and online from my home. I appreciate her knowledge of the French language as well as a wide variety of other topics, making our classes both highly enjoyable and productive. I am very happy for the lessons I had with Juliette! I booked 4 French lessons with her to prepare myself for an expo in France. I could already speak some basic French, but I needed to refresh it a bit, and get a more advanced vocabulary to speak about specific things in my job. The experience was great. I had one video call and three meetings in my apartment in Paris, so it was very convenient. Juliette was very well prepared for each lesson and I gradually became more and more confident explaining the product, and the company I work for, to potential customers. We also did role playing and Juliette helped me when I got stuck. She sent me a document after each lesson with the new words and phrases, that I could use to practice on my own. This was very well invested time and money, and it made a huge difference for me at the expo. I was able to have meaningful conversations with people I met without using a translator. I am very happy I took these lessons!

I don’t usually write many reviews but I have to rave about my new French lessons. A few months ago I started taking a few lessons with Yolène and it has been such an awesome experience and self investment. Since my high school days, I have tried to study French but I always felt my accent was either holding me back or I just couldn’t get the grammar. However, just a few courses with Yolène and I immediately felt at ease and excited to learn at my own pace. Yolène is super patient and really takes my needs into account during the lessons. She really is an engaging teacher and each class has been equal parts funny and super informative! If you ever decide to get serious with your French but also want to have fun with it, I HIGHLY recommend taking classes with Yolène!

Juliette is an extremely professional teacher. She was able to immediately assess my level and provide appropriate lessons. She can explain grammar in a very accessible way and can ensure that a range of coursework is provided to improve grammar, speaking and comprehension.
